One step back, two steps forward

Close readers will recall that senryu got a last-minute TV gig a while back for a cable medical show, only to find on arrival that it was basically glorified extra work. Fooey!

Well, it was on...and the good news is that they used pretty much everything of hers they shot: all three scenes, in their entirety (not always the case, alas). So Woo- and likewise -Hoo!

Feast and famine, busy and quiet, small parts that turn large, and vice versa. And let's face it, any day she gets to perform is better than a day she doesn't.

WTG, senryu! (Can I get an Amen, somebody?)

I'm looking for my spray can of political-posts-begone, but, y'know, just for a sec here: am I the only one weirded out that the Shrubster visits Europe for the sixtieth anniversary of the Allied liberation of the Nazi camps...and uses the occasion to criticize, not Adolf Hitler, but FDR and Churchill?

The point isn't just that he's misrepresenting Yalta, as right-wing lunatics have for many years. The point is the timing. "We here in Europe deplore the horrors of the Nazi death ca -- " "Gimme that mike! Hey, your real problem was FDR and Churchill!"

Oh, there it is. Sprrrrrrrrriiiiitttzzzz

We now return you to your regularly-scheduled memes.
